Confidence and Self-love

Some of my clients come to me feeling a whole host of negative emotions.

Frustrated that they haven’t been able to make the changes they want to…

Disappointed in themselves that they can’t get their asses in gear…

Guilty that they want to put themselves first…

Uncomfortable with how they feel in their own skin…

Overwhelmed with all the things that life throws at them…

Lost with how to balance their priorities…

Confused with all the conflicting information on the internet…

Disgusted with what they see in the mirror…

Scared of failing themselves…

You see, weight loss isn’t the solution to these problems. If you set out to pursue weight loss, you might, in fact, amplify some of these negative emotions. If everything you do, and everything you focus on is about losing weight, then I’m sorry to tell you that it probably won’t end all that well for you.

I mean, WTAF, right?!

The OUTCOME of weight loss is the result of focusing on your PROCESS.

I know… it’s weird. Focusing on the outcome doesn’t actually change the outcome. It’s annoying.

All that Vision Board, and Manifestation, and Praying for the Will to Change is not going to build confidence, it’s not going to teach you to love yourself, and it’s not going to be the impetus for sustainable change.

Confidence and self love and sustainability comes from creating daily opportunity for consistently achieving small successes. Creating those opportunities is the PROCESS.

That’s where it’s at. THAT is what slowly shifts the course of your ship away from persistent negative emotions.

And THAT is how you pursue weight loss.
